Invent A Tent was designed last December as I was trying to help my kids with a blanket fort. Anyone that has kids knows how much kids like to build forts. Most forts are built using a combination of blankets couches and chairs. Of corse the blankets are usually held in place by tucking them in cushions or on chairs with a pile of books on them to hold them in place. This was the case with my kids. In an effort to come up with a better way to allow my kids to play without making the house a disaster I made the first prototype of the play tent. I gave it to the kids as a christmas gift and it was an instant hit entertaining them nonstop for days.

For several months the kids played with it for hours on end. It has now been about a year and the kids still play with the tent and come up with new tent shapes that have improved the Invent A Tent designs. The tent is made to be easy for the kids to play with on their own, but my kids still like having me build with them on weekends. In fact, we have had several "campouts" as a family in their creations. We hope you can enjoy the tent as much as my children have.
